Each business is scored on reputation, profile completeness, distance and years trading. A verified registration with the official body counts for most. Owner-verified businesses get a small bonus, and so does a business that shows the FindIrish badge on its own website (a free way up, below any paid plan). Platinum and Gold members get a paid placement boost — smaller than a verified registration, so a registered business on the free plan still comes first.
